“Bluetopia” is a series that began in 2009, resuming a work from 1998, “The Sage”. This work proposes the creation of an utopian world stemming from the color blue. While directing its gaze to the landscape, the work begins with a series of drawings of the madeup flora of this private world. Soon afterwards, the relation to objects and their allusions to residences fit for this madeup world, as it happens in “House For Blue Dreams”, a model for a house around which everything turns blue. Afterwards, other works continued the relation to various same coloured objects which are, subjectively, crafted with basis on object found in daily life. The most recent works also deal with the relations between nature and artificiality.
